Hi, I’m Mark Rose, founder and operator of Groupiehead.

Earlier in my career, I was a partner in a large marketing firm. I understand firsthand how traditional agencies operate — layers of management, structured processes, and a clear separation between clients and the people actually doing the work.

In many larger firms, the person selling the strategy isn’t the one executing it. The people building the website, designing the creative, and managing the advertising often never speak directly with the business owner. They’re completing tasks — not building relationships. The model depends on volume, overhead, and constantly moving from one account to the next. And worse… many firms outsource the work to cheap labor overseas that don’t know (or care) who they’re working for. These firms are designed to pump out the work, get paid, and move on to the next sale.

Over time, I realized something important.

The best results didn’t come from being bigger. They came from being closer.

So I intentionally evolved Groupiehead into a boutique, highly focused marketing company — one where clients work directly with me. No sales people. No departments. No hand-offs. No account managers. The person you talk to is the person doing the work, me.

I handle the creative, website development, and advertising personally, bringing in a small circle of long-trusted specialists only when something truly falls outside my expertise. I don’t take on every potential client. I work with businesses I know I can genuinely help — the ones who value clarity, accountability, relationships and real results.

Some clients need strategic leadership — someone to think like a marketing director. Others simply need an experienced professional to design the branding, build the website, sharpen the messaging, and/or run marketing campaigns that drives real leads. These are the things I do.

How Clients Work With Me

Most businesses don’t hire Groupiehead for just one isolated task. In many cases, I become their go-to marketing partner — someone they can call when they need guidance, creative work, or help moving a marketing project forward.

Clients have my cell phone number and are welcome to call anytime when something comes up or when they simply need advice. That direct access helps keep projects moving and prevents small marketing questions from turning into bigger problems.

Some clients work with me long-term on a regular basis, whether that’s monthly, weekly, or simply as needs arise. As a client, you will work directly with me, there’s no hand-off between departments or account managers. The person you speak with is the same person developing the ideas and doing the work — always.

My role can be as involved in your business as needed. For example, some restaurants hire me to design and print their menus, maintain their website, create weekly social media posts, and manage monthly YouTube advertising campaigns to bring in new customers. Other clients have fewer needs. An accounting firm might hire me to build their website and design matching business cards for their staff. When they bring on a new employee, I simply print another set so their brand always stays consistent.

Some clients work with me long-term their “as needed” Marketing Director. Others reach out when they need help with a specific project. Either way, the goal is the same — thoughtful strategy, professional creative work, and marketing that helps your business move forward.
